Spring Breeze, Rising Innovation – Songguantun Chamber of Commerce and Dezhou Science and Technology Bureau Hold Policy Empowerment Event at Soletks Group

On the afternoon of April 27, 2025, the Songguantun Chamber of Commerce of Dezhou, together with the Dezhou Science and Technology Bureau, held a special “Policy Empowerment” event at Soletks Group. The aim was to help member enterprises seize development opportunities and gain a clear understanding of the latest science and technology policies.

The event was well-attended. Among the guests were Zhang Yong, Deputy Director of the Municipal Financial-Industry Promotion Center and Deputy Director of the New Energy and New Materials Industry Office; Zhang Jian, Deputy Secretary of the Party and Mass Work Department of Tianqu New District; Xing Enming, Member of the Party Committee of Songguantun Sub-district Office; Yang Haibo, President of Songguantun Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Tianyuan Group; as well as over 30 member entrepreneurs. The event was hosted by Liang Yushuang, Secretary-General of the Chamber.

Soletks Group’s Chairman, Han Rongtao, warmly welcomed the leaders and entrepreneurs. He guided the delegation through the group’s exhibition hall, where he introduced Soletks’s corporate culture, development journey, and product portfolio.

The exhibition showcased cutting-edge achievements in clean thermal energy, including flat-plate solar collectors, integrated solar energy systems, greenhouse heating, and clean agricultural drying solutions. Guests paused to explore the technologies, expressing admiration for Soletks’s long-standing commitment to R&D and innovation.

Innovation Ecosystem and R&D Achievements

During the exchange session, Chairman Han highlighted Soletks’s innovation ecosystem and the path from research to application. As a national high-tech enterprise, a “Little Giant” in specialised innovation, and a recognised leader in solar thermal products, Soletks has built strong capabilities in absorber coating technologies and large-scale manufacturing.

From 2017 to 2019, Soletks ranked third globally in flat-plate collector output, and from 2020 to 2021 it rose to second place worldwide. Its core material market share remains among the highest in the industry. These achievements demonstrate both the company’s technological strength and its important role in advancing the solar thermal sector.

Policy Briefing and Practical Guidance

Following the visit, staff from the Science and Technology Bureau delivered detailed policy briefings. Topics included innovation vouchers in Shandong Province, government support for enterprise R&D, talent matchmaking, and shared access to large scientific instruments.

The officials stressed that these policies are not just documents on paper but practical tools that can directly address challenges faced by enterprises—such as lack of funding, shortage of skilled personnel, or limited access to advanced equipment. Entrepreneurs actively engaged in Q&A sessions, raising issues from their own businesses and gaining valuable insights into how to make full use of these policies.

Chamber's Commitment to Innovation

In his concluding remarks, Chamber President Yang Haibo spoke highly of the event. He emphasised that technological innovation is the core driver of enterprise growth, and the Chamber will continue to support its members in pursuing innovation-led development. He encouraged entrepreneurs to take full advantage of policy benefits, strengthen independent innovation, and enhance competitiveness to contribute to the economic growth of Dezhou.
