Zambian Ambassador Visits Soletks Group: Exploring Solar New Energy Cooperation and Jointly Blueprinting Green Development

2025/09/18 10:45

On the afternoon of March 21, 2025, an exchange event focused on China-Africa new energy cooperation took place at Soletks Group. H.E. Ivan Chiluulu, Zambian Ambassador to China, and Ms. Kalubanko, Economic Counselor of the Zambian Embassy in China, visited the group, accompanied by Zhang Fangrui, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of Dezhou Municipal Foreign Affairs Office. They discussed solar new energy R&D, industrial application, and international cooperation. Han Rongtao, Soletks Chairman, led core management and technical teams to receive the delegation in the modern flat-panel clean thermal energy exhibition hall, delivering a professional and engaging exchange.

I. Warm Host-Guest Interaction: A Green Energy-Focused Dialogue

The exhibition hall featured neatly arranged solar collectors and system models, with digital screens showing real-time operation data, creating an innovative atmosphere. Han Rongtao welcomed the delegation and outlined Soletks development. Founded with the mission to "promote clean energy and global low-carbon development," the group has specialized in solar thermal utilization for over a decade. It has grown from single-product R&D to a full-industry-chain enterprise covering "R&D, component manufacturing, production, integration, and scenario solutions," building a "professional, reliable, innovative" brand.

Han emphasized Soletks breakthroughs in solar-energy complementary technologies. "We integrate solar with geothermal and air energy to build stable, efficient comprehensive systems," he said, pointing to the solar thermal-electric twin clean system. This system, with "thermal production + intelligent storage + precise supply," boosts efficiency by over 30% and is used in Chinese industrial parks and communities. Honorary plaques—"National 'Specialized, Refined, Peculiar, Innovative' Little Giant," "National High-Tech Enterprise," and "Shandong Gazelle Enterprise"—showcased Soletks R&D strength, deepening the delegation’s understanding.

The technical team demonstrated the flat-panel clean thermal system via dynamic shows and disassembly. Key components included a 95% solar-absorption nano-coating panel core and corrosion-resistant shells. "Our products have ISO certification and are customized for local climates—enhanced anti-aging for high-altitude areas, upgraded insulation for cold regions," the technical director added, highlighting adaptability and reliability.

II. Aligned Needs: Zambia’s Energy Challenges and Soletks Solutions

Ambassador Ivan Chiluulu shared Zambia’s energy situation. As a southern African landlocked country, it has excellent solar resources (over 2,800 annual sunshine hours) and relies on agriculture and copper mining. However, insufficient grid coverage disrupts power in remote areas, and fossil energy dependence raises costs and pollution. "Clean, feasible energy solutions are key for our sustainable development," he said, expressing green energy hopes.

The delegation showed strong interest in Soletks agricultural drying and industrial heating cases. "Zambia’s corn, cotton, and cashews face 15%+ loss from weather-dependent sun-drying. Copper mining uses high-cost, polluting diesel boilers for heating," the ambassador noted, asking about the solar drying system and EFPC high-efficiency collector.

Han responded: "Our solar dryer uses 'multi-stage temperature control + intelligent dehumidification' (35-80℃ adjustable), cutting loss to under 5% with 1/3 the cost of traditional equipment. The EFPC collector (12㎡ single area) generates over 60℃ hot air/water daily in Zambia’s sunshine, meeting mining and agricultural needs." Application videos—showing stable equipment, quality dried products, and lower industrial energy use—reinforced the delegation’s cooperation interest.

III. Cooperation Outlook: Driving Green Energy for Zambia’s Growth

Ambassador Ivan Chiluulu praised Soletks technology. "Your products match our needs—solving energy issues, improving agriculture, and reducing industrial costs, aligning with Zambia’s 2030 'Green Economy' agenda," he said. The Zambian government will support Soletks market entry and facilitate projects.

"We plan to start agricultural and mining pilots—solar drying bases in southern Zambia’s cotton areas, EFPC systems in copper mines—then scale up," the ambassador proposed, matching Soletks strategy. Han replied: "Our international team offers 'design + production + installation + training' to ensure project success. We’ll partner with local firms to train talents and localize technology."

The ambassador and Soletks team took photos, exchanged contacts, and planned follow-up video meetings. This visit is a technical exchange and a chance for Soletks to expand globally. As a Chinese solar leader, it will deepen innovation, optimize cooperation, and share efficient clean solutions worldwide. For Zambia, the partnership will accelerate energy transformation, upgrade agriculture and industry, and write a new China-Africa win-win chapter.
